Structural Steel Fabrication – Trade Qualification

Nick started his career in the steel industry in 1964. After completing a five-year apprenticeship as a boiler maker at ADC Fabrication, Nick worked for a further 10 years as a foreman in the fabrication shop. This was followed by nine years as a foreman for another steel fabrication company, which included work in the North West and rigging duties. Prior to joining One Construction, Nick spent 23 years at a medium-sized steel fabrication company as work manager, general manager and supervisor (both internally and externally). His role included quotations, purchasing, design, sketching and transport. Nick brings a vast wealth of practical and theoretical structural steel experience to the company.
